The $379 question

How fast can $379 make sense?

You're going to dull another blade. The question is whether you're going to sharpen it in seconds—or buy another one. If the Dual reduces your replacement-blade spending, the payback can add up quickly.

If the Dual saves you $100/month Purchase price recovered in under 4 months.
If the Dual saves you $200/month Purchase price recovered in under 2 months.
If the Dual saves you $400/month Purchase price recovered in about 1 month.
About 3 sec — many OMT blades 10–20 sec — many reciprocating blades A few min — expensive hole saws

Illustrative payback examples based only on replacement-blade savings; actual savings vary by blade use, blade cost and sharpening results. That's before putting a value on avoiding a store run when you dull the blade you need right now—or on turning the pile of dull blades in your shop into a stockpile ready for the next job.

Oscillating multi-tool blades

Main-wheel sharpening is designed specifically for OMT blades. Steel and bi-metal blades can be sharpened with the Standard OMT wheel system, while carbide capability depends on the setup and method you choose.

Reciprocating saw blades

Reciprocating blades are sharpened using the side grinding wheel system and can often be put back to work quickly.

Hole saws

Hole saws use the side grinding wheel system. This is one of the highest-value applications when you're trying to save an expensive hole saw instead of replacing it.

Miter saw blades

Miter saw blades are sharpened freehand using the side grinding wheel system. There is a learning curve, so expect some practice before you become proficient. The same general method can also be used for table saw and handheld circular saw blades.

Drill bits

Drill bits are sharpened with the side grinding wheel system rather than the two OMT main wheels.

New machine. Proven sharpening platform.

The Dual is new. The sharpening systems are already proven.

The main grinding stations are designed for fast OMT tooth-forming and sharpening. The side grinding wheels sharpen reciprocating saw blades, hole saws, miter saw blades, drill bits and other supported applications, and can also be used to sharpen individual OMT teeth while maintaining near-factory tooth geometry.

Same proven sharpening systemsThe same OMT tooth-forming method and side-wheel sharpening approach carry forward from the JobSaver Pro.
Now doubled and upgradedTwo OMT stations plus side-wheel sharpening on both sides, with a larger motor, direct drive, modular bodies, stainless surfaces and dedicated vacuum ports.

Why Dual?

Two sharpening stations. Less changing. More sharpening.

The JobSaver™ Pro Dual lets you keep two main oscillating multi-tool (OMT) blade sharpening modules ready at the same time. The main grinding wheels in these two stations are specifically for forming and sharpening the teeth on oscillating multi-tool blades. That means less stopping, less reconfiguration, and a faster path from a dull OMT blade to a usable cutting edge.

Main wheels for OMT blades. Side wheels for the other sharpening jobs.

The Dual's two main grinding stations are dedicated to oscillating multi-tool blades. Each side also carries the same proven JobSaver side-wheel sharpening system used for reciprocating saw blades, hole saws, miter saw blades, drill bits and other supported applications. That gives you side-wheel sharpening capability on both sides of the Dual, with dedicated wheels for steel/bi-metal and carbide.

With the Standard Blade Setup: you get two main grinding wheels for steel and bi-metal oscillating multi-tool blades: a fine-pattern wheel and a standard-pattern wheel. The fine wheel is useful for tighter tooth patterns, but it also gives you a fast, repeatable way to establish the tooth locations before the final sharpening pass.

Why two steel & bi-metal OMT main wheels?

The fine-pattern wheel does two jobs: it can create a tighter tooth pattern, and it can quickly establish evenly spaced tooth locations as a guide for the finishing pass.

Step 1
Establish the tooth pattern Use the fine-pattern steel & bi-metal wheel to mark and form consistent tooth locations.
Step 2
Finish the cutting points Move to the standard-pattern wheel to finish the tips and final cutting geometry.

Why it matters: even if you normally prefer the standard tooth pattern, the fine wheel gives you a repeatable first-pass guide before you finish the cutting tips.

With the Carbide Setup: one OMT main wheel is the standard-pattern wheel for steel & bi-metal oscillating blades, while the second OMT main wheel is a general-purpose carbide wheel. This keeps both steel/bi-metal and carbide OMT capability ready without changing the main setup.

Both setups include the same complete side-wheel package for the other sharpening operations, and the side-wheel sharpening position is available on both sides of the Dual. These wheels handle reciprocating saw blades, hole saws, miter saw blades, drill bits and other supported applications, with dedicated options for steel/bi-metal and carbide.

JobSaver™ Pro Dual FAQ

Where is the JobSaver Pro Dual built?

The JobSaver™ Pro Dual is designed, tested, and assembled by Tiger’s Teeth Industries here in Michigan. We manufacture a number of the components ourselves and assemble each machine here using a combination of parts we make, other sourced components, and imported components.

Does the JobSaver Pro Dual sharpen carbide?

Yes. Every Dual includes carbide-capable side grinding wheels. The Standard Blade Setup can sharpen carbide oscillating blades one tooth at a time with the carbide side wheel. The Carbide Setup adds a dedicated general-purpose carbide main wheel for users who sharpen carbide more regularly.

What is the difference between the Standard Blade Setup and Carbide Setup?

Standard Blade Setup: two main wheels optimized for steel and bi-metal blades — a tight-pattern locating wheel and a regular-pattern finishing wheel. Carbide Setup: a regular-pattern main wheel for steel and bi-metal plus a general-purpose carbide main wheel. Both setups include the complete side-wheel set, including wheels for both steel/bi-metal and carbide sharpening.

What grinding wheels come with every JobSaver Pro Dual?

Regardless of which main-wheel setup you choose, every Dual includes two 60° side grinding wheels (one for steel/bi-metal and one for carbide), three ultra-thin carbide grinding wheels, and two regular thin grinding wheels (one for steel/bi-metal and one for carbide).

Can the JobSaver Pro Dual sharpen miter, table saw and handheld circular saw blades?

Yes. Miter saw blades, table saw blades and handheld circular saw blades can all be sharpened with the JobSaver Pro Dual. These are freehand sharpening applications and take some practice. Once you become proficient at presenting each tooth correctly to the grinding wheel, you can achieve very good sharpening results. Expect more of a learning curve than with simpler applications such as oscillating blades.

Does it sharpen straight-edge blades or chisels?

No. The current JobSaver Pro Dual is not designed for chisels or straight-edge blade sharpening.

How fast is sharpening?

It depends on blade type and condition. Many oscillating blades can be sharpened in only a few seconds, reciprocating blades can often be sharpened in roughly 10–20 seconds, and larger or more complex tools such as hole saws take longer.
