Freedom Pro Saw Blade Multi-Sharpener System

We offer a 115v bench-top power supply with a plug adapter for the sharpener. They are available under the menu item "Sharpeners". Having a power supply allows the user to use either an outlet or battery to power sharpener.

The Platinum package is by far the most popular. However, if you only use your sharpener for multi-tool blades, then the Basic is the minimum. Just choose between the type of multi-tool blades you will be sharpening...steel or carbide. It's best to refer to the chart showing what package sharpens what. Keep in mind that the Basic version requires you to remove worn original oscillating blade teeth with a bench grinder or similar. Or you can add the appropriate 60 Degree grinding wheel.

Because of demand, there is often a build-time for products that we make. I and two other employees build these individually. Sharpeners can have a 6 to 8 week build time. If you're interested in a sharpener, getting your order in as soon as possible is the best way to go about it.

You have a couple of options. For the Basic sharpener, which doesn't include side grinder grinding wheels, you may simply use a bench grinder for steel and bi-metal blades. A diamond grinding wheel will be required for carbide. If you wish to use the Freedom Pro to remove the worn original teeth, you'll want to add a CBN or Diamond 60 Degree wheel to your order or order a package that includes them.

Electroplated grinding wheels last a long time (as long as they aren't abused, of course). Out of the many hundreds I've sold, only one customer has worn one out. I've sharpened a ton of blades haven't worn one out yet, so I can't give you an exact number. What I can tell you is that my CNC grinder uses similar electroplated grinding wheels, and they last for years.

Because this is high-speed grinding, steel reacts with the diamond, turning it into carbon dust and wear it out quickly. Only use diamond on carbide and CBN abrasive on steel or bi-metal.

As you may know, a carbide or bi-metal strip is attached to the end of some oscillating blades. Different brands and models have differing amounts of hardened material to work with. With some brands, I might 2x the life and others I've 4x the life. The key is making small teeth. Only a small amount of that hard strip is needed to form the cutting edge of the teeth. Of course, there will be no more hardened material to resharpen at some point.

A battery adapter of your choice is included. NO battery or battery charger is included.
